ending this chapter, and starting the next!

hey friends!

wow, it's been a wild ride. nah, i haven't gotten married or moved to a new continent*. but, last week i officially turned in my thesis to be published and on Friday i'll be tossing on that ol cap and gown (but this time, with a hood!) to get my degree conferred. it seems so unreal that it's finally here.

so, what's next for me?

well, i'm still looking for jobs outside of Los Angeles- mostly within the engineering/architecture/sustainability world (but really i'm game for anything. yikes)- in cities like Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Austin, and yeah- Nashville! [hipster cities, according to some. for me it's more about a chill city with a good music scene].

in July, I'll be heading over to Antelope, OR to work at a younglife camp for a few weeks. i'm still waiting to hear back about what my actual job will be (i might find out tomorrow!), but it'll involve helping show high school kids the love of Christ, regardless. it's hard for me to think of a place i love more than camp, and i'm incredibly stoked and blessed to be able to go back. here's a little snapshot of where i'll be working.

so, thats it for me right now. i'm done with school (holy moly), about to move out of los angeles (me oh my), and move on to the next chapter of my life. it'll be an insane adventure, and i'm not sure where i'm going to be next. but i'm ok with that.**

*although, sometimes living in south central is real close to living in a developing country: the roads are terrible, there's lots of crime, tons of people not speaking english, you can't trust the tap water, and there isn't a whole foods or trader joes in sight.
