a request

hey all-

i forget who i was talking to about this at the beginning of summer- maybe a friend from home, maybe a friend from vandy (pretty sure it was from home, though, named carolyn)- but anyway, here's a bit of the conversation:

her: "i think the worst part about leaving college is going to be leaving the people"

me: "yeah for sure"

her: "but not my good friends. i know that we'll stay in touch. i'm going to miss the other people in my group of friends- the friends on the periphery, that i'm not as close with but i still love dearly and want to have in my life... i just don't have a way to do that"

me: "well my friends and i started a blog for all that"

so listen, if you haven't updated in more than a few weeks, please consider doing so. do it for the people that love you, but can't ever tell you that since you don't see them in rand everyday or across the hall in the dorms anymore. i miss a ton of you, and i miss the days when a new post would go up every day, where we said what we missed, what we were excited for, and just kind of kept each other in our lives.
