on my drive to krispy kreme this morning (ashamed that i eat there weekly? yes. gonna stop? nope.), i was about to switch from radio to ipod when i heard the sweet name of basil marceaux dot com uttered over the air waves. "basil marceaux dot com?" you ask. "was he that man who made us all ashamed to be from tennessee? is he the reason i peed my pants every time he spoke because he can't be real life?" yes, my friends, yes he is.
better yet: he's not running for office right now but has just released his first christmas tune. some say he's the next mariah carey. he speaks for all of us when he says, "christmas turns me on."
