exciting news: i finally got a plant for my cubicle! (i know, it's not that exciting relative to everyone else's recent posts). every time I complain about spending a lot of time in this little gray florescent-lit box, people tell me to get a plant, so yesterday, trader joe's really came through--in the form of $2.49 African Violet (cool, bc i like both africa and purple). Anyways, i'm going to try to keep it alive for the duration of my cubicle time. or maybe i'll take it home and plant it in a mason jar...
