awake my soul

hello again friends,
the past few weeks have been crazy on all accounts. that being said, i'm sticking to my storybook format and hope you all enjoy some random shots of where life has taken me...

It started with a "camping" trip with some of my high schoolers from Nashville. Little did we know we'd signed up for the "plunge" experience which included everything from 8 hours of manual labor a day to being left alone for 24 hours in the woods. Needless to say, I have little to no hope that any of their parents will let me take them anywhere again... woops?

From there it was back to Texas to begin a VERY full week of Maid of Honor responsibilities for my best friend from high school's wedding. The first of which was a pretty rockin' bachelorette party...

Which really just turned into an excuse to do this.

And although the week was busy, I was given a night off to see these guys with my little brother in Dallas. As a result, I have since fallen in love with an upright bass player named Ted and have planned a beautiful life together with him in which he plays sweet melodies for me nonstop for the rest of our lives. He'll be on board when we met someday, I'm sure of it. (sidenote: if you haven't listened to any Mumford & Sons please do it. they are AWESOME.)

There were bridal luncheons, rehearsals, toasts, and dinners.

That were, ultimately, all worth it.

bet you didn't know you signed up for a chapter book when you started, eh? sorry bout that, I got a little over excited about the pictures :)

looking forward to seeing some of you in Houston for our beloved Maggie and Jonathan's wedding this weekend! and for those of you we won't get to see, hope you're all doing well and know you'll be missed.

much love,
cresson
