it's been pretty sweet to wind down at home in knoxville. lots of time on the back porch reading (once while i waited for AAA to come unlock my car), lots of coffee w my parents. car shopping has been the top priority. the shift from vandy to this slow, slow pace has been weird. maybe that's why i'm up at 4 am for no good reason.
care to humor an ol pal for a second? please think back to your 9th grade math classroom. think back to walking in on the first day. now imagine the captivating individual pictured below at the front of the room where the teacher should be. oh wait, that will be the teacher. oh wait, that's me.
this kind of slow realization has been my last few weeks. i really have a job...teaching math...in memphis. crazy. can't wait to see how it goes with all of us out here in the great wide world. please send pictures along with your words - i love seeing what you are all up to. and if you know anyone who's selling a stickshift, give a brother a call.
