sweet home chicago

hey all...man, this graduation thing is rough! can you believe one week ago we were just unwinding from graduation, photos in alumni hall, and packing our lives up? crazycrazycrazy. i've been home in good ol' glenview, il, doing the best i can not to wallow about post-grad life. the sun finally came out yesterday and warm temps are here to stay for a little, which makes it all a little more bearable. next on the horizon: summer camp starting in june.

as many of you know, i'm gearing up to move to rwanda in december. i'm definitely in great need of prayer about it - for me being mentally and physically prepared, for God to use me in whatever way i'm needed, and for the country to be stable enough for me to be able to go. elections are occurring there in august and things are a little tense right now. in addition, i just received an email from my program saying they now won't officially let us know about acceptance (i've only unofficially heard) until june because they're working with the ministry of education to determine the "feasibility" of a program. cue stomach dropping out and heart racing. so prayers all around that things go as planned or that god prepares me to handle whatever roadblocks and challenges may come my way.

golly, to say i miss yall would be a massive understatement. but i'll say it. i miss you. updates from more people, please? this is a lovely idea, kiely - thanks for acting on it!
