roll to me...

great news. road full of promise is five syllables, so it can be the intro or conclusion of your next haiku.

in the days following graduation, i learned that rolling my eyes is a great way to keep tears back when i didn't want to cry at inopportune times. it was moderately successful. emotional times. but speaking of rolling...

just revisited this sweet translation of psalm 37:5. "roll your way onto Jehovah and trust in Him and He will do this."

hallelujah. so i roll my way back to espana tomorrow. feels like a pilgrimage to an old home away from home. and one last romp in the unreal world before the bronc heads back to nashville. my spanish road full of promise holds a lot of things i don't know about yet because my best friend from high school and i have resolved not to plan very much beforehand. it certainly holds familiar flamenco tunes, hippy hostels, paella and sangria, my crazy/beloved senora, spontaneous aventuras, and plenty of relaxing. like sarah's "pura vida" mentality, a brief return to the land of "no pasa nada" shall be a refreshing retreat indeed. and i'm ready for it. once i pack...

hope you're well. no, hope you're swell. and rolling your way onto Him.
